Meet Our Providers

Meet the friendly staff of Greensboro Women's Health Care, including the physicians, PA's, and nurses.

Cynthia Romine, MDCynthia Romine, MD

Dr. Romine graduated magna cum laude from the University of Virginia, with a B.A. in biology. She attended medical school at Wake Forest University, graduating in the top of her class. Her specialty training in OB/GYN was completed at the University of Tennessee. She is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and has been practicing since 1986. In 2000, after having the pleasure of delivering over a thousand babies in Greensboro, she decided to focus her medical practice on gynecology and surgery. Her practice encompasses well woman care, birth control, management of abnormal bleeding and abnormal pap smears, menopausal management and both minor and major gynecologic surgery including Da Vinci robotic surgery. Dr. Romine is a fellow in the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She was also named as a "Best Doctor" by Consumers' Research Council of America.

She lives with her husband, Terry, and has two sons and two step-daughters. She enjoys reading, travel, scuba diving, and playing the piano.

 

Dr. Mary S. MillerM. Suzanne Miller, MD

Dr. Mary Suzanne Miller joined Greensboro Women’s Health Care, PA, in 2007. She obtained her undergraduate degree, a B.S. in biology with chemistry minor, from Duke University. She went on to complete medical school at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, NC. She graduated with honors from medical school and was inducted into AOA, the honor society for medical schools, during her fourth year. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology from Wake Forest University/Baptist Medical Center and during her fourth year in residency, she was the chief resident.

Before getting married and moving to Greensboro, Dr. Miller practiced both obstetrics and gynecology in Pinehurst, NC. She decided to focus her practice to gynecology and gynecologic surgery when she joined Greensboro Women’s Health Care, PA. She was fully board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology in January, 2007.

Dr. Miller is active in her local church, and holds positions on the local and global missions committees. She and her husband led the summer mission team to Bolivia in July 2008 with 17 other adults. She enjoys reading, cooking, and spending time with her family.

Patricia Grubb, FNPPatricia Grubb, FNP

Patricia Grubb received her Associate Degree in Nursing from Bluefield State College where she was Student Nurse of the Year the year she graduated. Patty then went on to complete her Family Nurse Practitioner Degree at the Medical College of Virginia. She was initially certified by the Virginia Board of Nursing and then the North Carolina Board of Nursing. In 1996, she completed her degree in Christian Counseling at John Wesley College.

Patty joined Greensboro Women's Health Care in 2001 and has focused on women's health since that time. Her particular interests include well woman care, contraception, preconception counseling, peri- and post-menopausal care, and pessary management. Before coming to Greensboro, Patty worked for 7 1/2 years at Princeton Community Hospital where she became the youngest head nurse of pediatrics. During her time there, she worked in almost all areas of the hospital including the ICU, CCU, medical-surgical floor, as in-service director, and as relief-nurse supervisor. Patty then worked as a Family Nurse Practitioner in Boonville, North Carolina, and later, in High Point, she obtained experience in both primary care and orthopedic care.

She enjoys medical mission work and has served in Africa and the Ukraine. Patty lives in High Point with her husband, Gerald. She enjoys spending time with family and scrap-booking. She is also active in her local church.

Debbi Leonard, RN, CNMDeborah Leonard, RN, CNM

Deborah Leonard graduated from High Point Memorial School of Nursing and completed her Nurse-Midwifery Education at the Medical University of South Carolina. She also holds a degree in Health Administration from Kennedy-Western University of Wyoming. She is board certified by the NC Board of Nursing and the American College of Nurse-Midwives. She has practiced in the Triad area for many years, providing care to women of all ages, including obstetrics and gynecology, as well as limited newborn care. After working as the administrator and CNM at the first free-standing birth center in the triad, Debbi decided to focus her care on gynecology in 2008. She practices with the thought of "providing care for women for a lifetime". Her practice includes well woman care, pre-conception consultation, contraception and menopausal management. She looks forward to meeting new patients daily.

Debbi enjoys outdoor activities with Oscar (miniature schnauzer) and Chance (golden retriever), restoration of antique cars with her husband, Eddie, and spending time with her daughter, twin sons and family.
